A versatile online database
With OnlineNotes you can store and read your private and shared data from any location using an internet browser (no need to install anything in your PC). Your data will be protected by password and saved every day against accidental loss. You can use OnlineNotes as sharable organizer, reminder, mind mapper, social bookmarker etc.. All information can be exported/imported to/from your PC. Data can be encrypted/decrypted in the browser for absolute privacy. Click here for examples of how to use OnlineNotes
Sections, Categories, Records, Tags
The OnlineNotes database is logically divided into the following sections (you can hide sections you don't want to see):

Each section is logically divided into custom categories, which you can define without limits.
You store information in elements called records. All records have the following attributes (the ones marked with asterisk are mandatory):
- section*

- content1*
- content2
- number
- date/time
- scheduled date/time of reminder email
- address of reminder email

- sharing option
- owner
- tags
A record is mandatorily associated with a category (also called "primary category") and may be optionally associated with any number of other categories (called "tags" or "secondary categories") .
Fast and easy, especially in searches.
Records can be searched per section, category, character string in the record's contents fields, language, sharing option and owner. As soon as the home page is open, you can immediately type in a few characters of the contents of the seeked records, press the "Enter" key and all the records matching the character sequence will appear, no matter the section or category where they belong. For more precise searches, the other attributes mentioned above can be used.
Optional record sharing
You can share any records with other people. You can define groups of users and specify with which group a record is to be shared, or you can mark a record "public", which will make the record visibile to anybody. Records can be modified only by the respective owner, that is, the one who created it.
File uploading and downloading
You can upload and download files of any kind in your dedicated file space. This will allow you to build an online file archive, with any number of subfolder levels.
Private notepad
Each user has a private notepad to quickly annotate anything in rich text format, i.e. with the possiblity of varying the size and style of the charaters.
Email scheduler
Each user can schedule emails to be sent to oneself or other people at a given date and time, with one hour precision. Subject and body of the message correspond with attributes "content1" and "content2" of the associated record. This is particularly useful when applied to records of the "To do" section, to generate reminders on the appropriate date and time.
Using this database as an advertising tool
You can insert records referring to your web site or business, and mark them as "public". They will then become visible to any other users and potentially attract people to the things you want to advertise. You can even submit to search engines like Google the pages containing your records, by specifying, in the page address, the selection criteria to be applied.
Community of users, internal email and chat
Users can share records and communicate anonimously with each other via internal email or chat. Upon registration, you can optionally provide information about yourself such as sex age, town of residence, and a photograph. Such information can be used as search criteria by other users.

You can change plan at any moment. However, if you move from a more expensive plan to a less expensive one, there is no reimboursemnt.
Demo
You can try OnlineNotes without registering or logging in. Just go to the Advanced Search page and start using the database. You will be identified as "demo" user and will be allowed to do all operations except to insert or modify data or personal settings.
